FIBROMYALGIA

Please first read, “The Real Cause…The Real Cure” on the Home page.

Many times fibromyalgia is called, by healthcare practitioners, the garbage can diagnosis. It’s been bestowed with this name because commonly it’s the diagnosis given when patients have aches and pains all over and healthcare professionals don’t know what to make of those bizarre symptoms. So, why do we hurt all over? There always could be something more severe like cancer that has metastasized. But if you get a clean bill of health, it’s time to look at other causes: One being the muscles. When a muscle shortens, it doesn’t behave like a normal muscle. It’s contractile range, how far the muscle can stretch and recoil, is limited. Thus, other muscles in the body have to compensate for this malfunctioning muscle. Before you know it, you can be hurting head to toe…the symptoms of fibromyalgia. Another cause of fibromyalgia needs to be mentioned. Allergies to foods (like dairy, meat, sugar and wheat to name a few) and chemicals can wreak havoc with our bodies and cause syndromes like fibromyalgia. The books I have written all have a chapter on diet; because what we put into our mouths has a huge impact on our health.
